Role Overview:
Knowledge for Peace (K4P) is seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to help shape and define the organization’s visual identity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting a cohesive, impactful visual style that embodies K4P’s mission and values. This role involves developing design elements that align with our mission of empowering communities in conflict-affected areas through education and peacebuilding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining K4P’s Visual Identity:
  • Establish a unique, cohesive visual identity that reflects K4P’s core values—empowerment, inclusivity, resilience, and peace. This includes defining color schemes, typography, logo usage, and other design elements that will be consistently reflected in all visual materials.
  • Develop brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms and materials.
• Design for Website and Digital Presence:
  • Create compelling and visually cohesive graphics for the K4P website to enhance user experience and reflect the organization’s values and goals.
  • Collaborate with web developers to ensure smooth integration of visual content across K4P’s digital platforms.
• Visual Content for Publications and Materials:
  • Design engaging visuals for digital and print materials, including reports, infographics, presentations, social media content, and event materials, in line with K4P’s visual identity.
  • Select or create high-quality images, icons, and other graphical elements that accurately represent K4P’s mission.
• Support for Campaigns and Initiatives:
  • Assist in the creation of visual assets for campaigns, events, and other initiatives, ensuring they are consistent with K4P’s visual identity and effectively communicate key messages.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, and other relevant design tools.
• Access to high-quality image libraries and resources.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members remotely.
