Role Overview:
Knowledge for Peace (K4P) is seeking a dedicated *Lead Videographer* to turn pre-prepared scripts into engaging, impactful videos. Working alongside a script writer who provides ready-to-go content, the Lead Videographer will bring complex peacebuilding and social change topics to life, making them accessible and visually compelling for our audience. This role is perfect for someone passionate about storytelling through video and who wants to contribute to meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Video Production & Editing:
- Collaborate with the script writer to translate scripts into polished video content.
- Use video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar to produce high-quality videos that reflect K4P’s mission and visual identity.
– Visual Storytelling:
- Focus on interpreting the provided scripts into clear, impactful visuals, adding graphics, text, and effects as needed.
- Ensure videos are consistent with K4P’s style and purpose, making complex ideas easily understandable for the audience.
– Independent Project Management:
- Oversee the production timeline for each video, managing the editing process from start to finish.
- Work independently to complete tasks on time, while being open to feedback from the content team.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in videography or video editing (please share samples of your work).
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Strong visual and storytelling skills, with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the script writer.
